Balance Score Card

All organizations have (or should have) a mission and vision, which are very different.


First, the mission is the main objective of the organization is the reason for its existence.


The mission should be expressed in the present tense, indicating what the company does, who are targeted its products or services and how to give value to them.


The vision is therefore the future projection is intended to give the organization is what we want to become in the future. For example, the vision of a new university might be a recognized institution in the country, becoming one of the top 5 universities in the country over the next 15 years.
The important thing is that the mission and vision express different ideas, but they must be related and consistent.
